GYROTONIC® method is an integrated exercise program originally developed for professional dancers. The integrated program combines movements from yoga, swimming and gymnastics to increase spinal flexibility and strength, build long lean flexibile muscles and fully articulated joints. 

 

The GYROTONIC® exercise method is a holistic approach to movement that is designed to be highly adaptable making it accessible to everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. GYROTONIC® exercises are performed on custom-designed GYROTONIC®equipment. 

 

GYROTONIC® exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. Each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression.

 

These carefully crafted exercise sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility as they renew energy, vitality and a sense of well being.

 

Regular practice mends and prevents back pain, aids in recovery from accidents, illness, and surgeries, addresses scoliosis, arthritis and other structural issues in a very supportive manner.
